Stuart produced the recordings and wrote about half the songs. Barbara Manning sang lead on most of the songs and played guitar. The Mekons’ Jon Langford wrote two songs and played on the recordings, and members of the Pulsars, Ashtray Boy and sundry Chicago bands provided instrumental backup. "Martian Man" is a Lora Logic cover that originally appeared on her LP Pedigree Charm. Lora Logic's story merits its own book, let alone website, but nothng yet, alas...
